Job Duties and Responsibilities:

A Support and Development Trainer III manages, researches, conceptualizes, builds and implements training projects for our outside sales vendors. The Trainer will coordinate training with other members of the Sales Channel Training team and vendors by project managing training initiatives from development to delivery. This position will also conduct large trainings, sales presentations and facilitator led workshops.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

Works with various departments to develop training curricula
Conducts pilots and research projects to determine appropriate training
Provides direction and instruction to vendor field staff on job performance, execution and ways to deliver training material
Onboards and trains new trainers both at office and at our vendors sites
Participates in needs analyses studies to assist Training Managers on the training needs within the vendor organizations based on testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training or during an evaluation period
Partners with the vendor field staff to identify specific behaviors and skills requiring employee improvement, such as: better understanding of products, promotions and sales methods
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as: on-the-job training, use of training materials, customer service, sales techniques, marketing tactics, public relations, refresher/up training, and product knowledge

Experience and Requirements:

A successful Support and Development Trainer III, you will have the following:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and 3-4 years of related experience and/or training
Project management and research skills. Instruction design and training experience required. Experience in a sales environment; call center or field sales environment preferable
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and vendor organizations to drive performance and participation in ongoing training initiatives
Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
High energy, flexible, innovative and the ability to manage responsibilities and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
Up to 75% travel required, including local, national and international travel
