As our new Financial Operations Manager, your role is to manage the process excellence journey for the Financial Control team in Sydney and the Shared Services Centre in Pune contributing to the overall achievement of KPIs as committed to the Chief Financial Officer. You will be formulating the annual process excellence plan for the Financial Control team and agreeing maturity level targets. You will also manage the reporting of Process Excellence monthly to targets and also manage the reporting of special Process Excellence projects across Financial Control.
Based in our North Sydney office and reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, you will be working closely with our shared services team in Pune to manage the operations across Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Expenses, Purchasing and Banking.
The Financial Operations Manager also holds accountability for reviewing the business expenses dashboard and ensuring that all business expenses are compliant according to policy. Performing monthly deep dive audits and risk analysis on business expenses.
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail and exceptional time management. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial operations with extensive knowledge of financial systems. Intermediate experience in Excel and the Microsoft office suite is highly desirable as is previous experience using the Oracle suite. CA/CPA qualification or studying towards the qualification preferred.
