Director, IT Platform Operations

•Accountable for driving improvements to application stability by working closely with internal and 3rd party technology partners to trouble shoot and resolve complex technical issues, pro-actively monitor and address production issues in advance and build a successful feedback of learnings into improvements.
•Lead a team of approx. 45 employees: determine staffing requirements / task allocations, selection of team members; direct, motivate and develop staff, encouraging individual contribution, improvement within Rogers values and teamwork
•Deliver on IT Budgets for mostly OPEX and CAPEX
•Lead and Drive vendor negotiations and SLAs as applicable
•Accountable for Day to Day operations for platforms as well as any on Demand activities including SOX compliancy, operational reporting, PCI compliancy, security compliancy Billing operations, license mgmt etc.
•Accountable for communication to stakeholders on IT activities that impact the ability to operate.
•Accountable for Identifying and driving operational projects that will contribute to the overall stability of the supported applications
•Excel in collaboration and communication skills

Experience & Education

•University Degree or equivalent work experience
•Strong analytical skills
•Financial Management skills and experience managing large Opex budgets
•Experience managing vendor relationships and writing, managing contracts
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Proven ability to work at and develop relationships at all levels
