Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Analyze and evaluate Project work scopes, long lead requirements and strategic procurement on a worldwide basis.
•Provide support to the Project Supply chain team members to ensure adherence to Ensco’s Code of Business Conduct, ethical and compliance standards, company guidelines and Supply Chain policies and procedures.
•Assist in the development and maintenance of a schedule of Projects, Budgeted values and assigned Supply Chain resources for all Corporate and BU Projects and update on-line on regular basis.
•Collaborate with the project managers to ensure that there is Supply Chain involvement in the planning process and at the conceptual phase of the project, including all major purchases of equipment and services and including Shipyard selection. Ensure adequate coverage during the Project execution and close out phases.
•Assist in Supply Chain involvement with Asset and Project Management regarding the development of the WBS, obtaining quotes for AFE creation and approval, and expedient negotiations and issuance of Purchase Orders, and management of procured materials and services to meet the project timeline and critical path priorities.
•Assist in high level review of the WBS and AFE’s are conducted and critical equipment and services that are required on a repetitive basis are communicated to our Sourcing group to ensure long term agreements are executed to optimize spend, obtain benefits on cost, quality, delivery, and safe and efficient execution of services.
•Monitor and report on departmental key performance indicators and develop solutions enabling continuous improvement.
•Ensure standardized weekly reporting is maintained for all projects and participate adequately in all Project start up’s, close out on site or via tele-conference. Ensure that we use a continuous improvement process from the lessons learned sessions and eliminate any repeat critical Supply Chain related findings.
•Enforce the use of Master Service Agreements (MSA) prior to issuance of a service Purchase Order. If a MSA is needed, all service suppliers will be requested to enter into the MSA, with the Project Supply Chain Representative initiating the request through the Contracts Management and Review Procedure with Ensco’s Supply Chain Global Sourcing and Contracts team.
•Collaborate with the Global Sourcing and Contracts Management team to ensure set up of critical vendors in new countries of Operation and justify the addition of new services vendors that need to be added to the supply base.
•Collaborate with the Global Logistics and Trade Compliance team & freight forwarders for rig projects being planned in new country’s to ensure proper import and export procedures are established for the Rig, Equipment, inward and outward Freight movements.
•Ensure coordination with the Global Logistics Managers on any special requirements such as vessel and air charters and for advance notice of out of gauge and permit shipments that will require special handling and booking.
•Collaborate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to ensure the timely processing and payment of invoices.
