Duties and Responsibilities:

Collecting and analyzing the project’s business requirements and transferring the same knowledge to development team.
Evaluating the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops.
Preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
Documenting the acquired results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client(s).
Providing input to the development team during the development stage of the product to meet the client’s business needs.
Communicating effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product’s functional requirements such as screen, and interface.
Designing and executing the test scripts and test scenarios.
Coordinating business units testing, validation, evaluating new applications/functions, and determining issues in services and software.
Manage projects using an agile approach to meet agreed deadlines.
Work with IT to enhance current processes and ad-hoc projects.
Provide training on IT processes and products to individuals and groups

Qualifications:


Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related supporting field
Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience (eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements for IT systems), including utilizing formal development methodologies and various business analysis elicitation/analysis techniques.
This would include experience in writing Business and Functional Specifications, facilitating workshops, and in Use Case and User Story development
Must possess a minimum of 2 years in a BA Lead capacity mentoring other BAs on large IT projects

Required Skills/Certifications:

PMP & Certified Scrum Master Certifications
Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience (eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements for IT systems), including utilizing formal development methodologies and various business analysis elicitation/analysis techniques.
This would include experience in writing Business and Functional Specifications, facilitating workshops, and in Use Case and User Story development
Must possess a minimum of 2 years in a BA Lead capacity mentoring other BAs on large IT projects
Must possess solid Leadership, Meeting Management and Facilitation skills; be capable of leading elicitation workshops, and distinguishing between user needs/wants
Must possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including strong technical and business writing skills

Desired Skills/Certifications:

PMP, Certified Scrum Master® (CSM)
Minimum 8 years of business analysis experience (eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements for IT systems), including utilizing formal development methodologies and various business analysis elicitation/analysis techniques.
This would include experience in writing Business and Functional Specifications, facilitating workshops, and in Use Case and User Story development
Experience in Working with the business (Product Owner) to define what they need.
Must possess a minimum of 4 years in a BA Lead capacity mentoring other BAs on large IT projects
Experience on working with SharePoint 2010 or later Projects
