Security Sales Representative


Sell HPE Aruba solutions to the Security buyers and collaborate within the company and with the field to prioritize, facilitate and direct the use of resources
Establish short and long term goals plus quotas in line with corporate objectives
Leverage heightened customer awareness to drive market transition towards Internal Network Security & IOT security
Become the leader for internal network security through architectures, road map, OEMs, and partnerships
Strategic partnerships with IOT device vendors for alignment and GTM
Develop awareness and Industry thought leadership with customers and partners
Build, monitor and orchestrate sales pipelines to ensure continuous population of near and long term opportunities; manages the size, shape and quality of pipeline; analyzes overall win rates and win/loss ratios
Use competitive intelligence in account planning and sales activities to develop counter strategies that will neutralize competitive influence on the customer's buying decisions
Stay current with industry and competitive research and information to enable rich client dialogue
Maintains an understanding of client business challenges, industry trends, and markets
Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge to position and map the company capabilities that align to client business objectives and initiatives.
Contact prospective customers to determine product needs and perform sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs
Identifies customer requirements, matches with company capabilities and chooses the respective company supply chain accordingly (Volume Direct or Indirect).
Maintain sales records and prepares sales reports as required, including a 90 day rolling forecast
Continually work on being self-taught as formal training in emerging technologies may not exist

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management required
Minimum of Eight (8) years selling experience in high tech sales required
Excellent written & verbal communication skills required
Excellent presentation skills required
Ability to learn new technologies quickly required
Highly motivated sales starter and ability to work independently required
Proven impressive ability to find ways over, under, around & through barriers required
Must be extremely sensitive & adaptive to both stated and unstated customer needs
Experience creating focused, collaborative, results-driven teams (internal & partners)
Proven, consistent over achievement of sales quotas required
Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations required
Ironclad integrity required
Ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients required
Ability to prospect and qualify potential accounts required
Proven ability to be self-taught required, as formal training in emerging technologies may not exist

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience selling networking solutions preferred
