This is an operational role supporting the VOIP/TDM switching elements in Gamma’s Core Network. A strong understanding of both SIP VOIP and C7 TDM interworking is required.
Operational support and routines.
Faulting, provisioning and integration of network elements.
Hardware and software upgrades.
C7 and SIP interconnect provisioning and test.
Voice network QOS analysis and trouble shooting.
Callout and out of hours working.
Candidates should possess the following general skills and abilities:
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast moving and changeable environment
Self-motivated and very flexible with a "can do" attitude
Strong technical skills within a multi-disciplined environment (see technical skill requirements, below)
5+ years' operational experience with a Telco or Telecoms vendor.
Must be a self-starter, proactive, highly organized, and capable of working well with individuals at all levels in the organization.
Good interpersonal, written, oral, and analytical skills, as well as being innovative and dedicated.
Applicants will be expected to have hands on experience on some of the following network elements with high level support knowledge on at least one:-
Genband S3/Q20 SBC
Genband C3/G9 Softswitch
Ericsson TSS4 (AXE10)
CSCF type applications
VOIP and TDM Voice Quality of Service measurement equipment
