Responsible for the planning and implementation of all marketing and public relations programs including advertising, promotions, direct mailings, print production customer events, etc. Stays on top of new product developments, product launches, marketing research and development of sales tools.


• Strategic planning and research
• Analysis of demographic and market based data to determine best avenues for key marketing efforts including advertising, PR and events
• Supports management team with strategic analysis for network build out, distribution, customer care, churn reduction, customer retention, customer loyalty and other business functions
• Advertising & Public Relations
• Responsible for implementation of marketing and brand strategy at all consumer touch points
• Responsible for media tactics and placements to compliment sales goals of business unit
• Responsible for creative execution of brand strategy
• Acts as primary field liaison with corporate advertising group, ad agency, media outlets, sales channels, vendors, and PR firm for all marketing initiatives
• Responsible for tracking, reporting and maintaining marketing budget
• Negotiates all added value with media outlets in the market
• Negotiates and implements all local marketing events and sponsorships
• Responsible for execution and management for all events & sponsorships
• Manages Public Relations Agency relationship on a local level
• Develops all local Public Relations initiatives
• Primary media contact for media requests and interviews
• Creates and manages community outreach & cause marketing programs in the field
• Manages and controls merchandising for all channels to align with brand strategy
• Includes management of inventory and distribution of merchandise within budget
• External CO-OP Programs
• Manages and builds relationships with vendors to garner local funding for CO-OP programs
• Supports and manages roll out and internal communication for all handset provider promotions and SPI
• Sales incentive programs
• Creates, supports and helps manage sales incentives for all sales channels and consumer promotions
• Internal Communications
• Responsible for all internal communications with Regional Office, retail, and indirect channel for marketing programs including product updates, promotions, newsletters etc.
• ROI analysis
• Responsible for creating and maintaining tracking system to review effectiveness of marketing programs


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising or related field or equivalent related experience/education, prior management experience preferred
• 8 years’ experience in marketing and advertising including at least 4 years in the wireless telecommunications industry and 4 years in a leadership capacity
