The key duty of Operation Specialist is to examine inventory levels, speed of production and demand for products to ascertain a company’s optimal production levels and potential future sales. This position needs to work with several departments or regional teams in culling information and developing reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Prepare monthly reports for forecasting review purposes
Bridge between analysis and programmer to identify problems and recommend solutions
Assist in development of data management systems to assist with forecasting
Conduct daily and weekly updates to forecast
Provide organizational and strategic analytical support to managers
Nurtures, supports, and promotes the Company Mission and Values
Performs other duties as instructed by managers
Qualifications:

Background in mastering schedule, forecast, procurement and planning
Knowledge of demand management/forecast tools/processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues
Be able to write SQL to retrieve data from MS SQL server databases. Familiar with SQL Server management Studio.
2+ years programming experience
Good communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and detail oriented
Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
Experience using SAP (preferred) or other ERP software
5+ years related experience with MRP functionality, managing product life cycle and inventory
4 year college degree (Business, Industrial Engineering or related field)
