Manager - Talent Acquisition

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for driving recruiting strategy, continuing to strengthen or build new candidate and hiring manager relationships while filling critical technical and leadership roles for North Americas jobs within MicroStrategy’s Technology organization.

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for driving total lifecycle recruiting for the Technology organization as well as build and develop a team of Talent Acquisition professionals to support Technology recruiting. The Manager should be able to make recommendations for innovative sourcing strategies and implement recruiting programs to drive amazing talent pipelines.

Your Focus:

Develop and deliver the Talent Acquisition strategy that responds to both short-term and longer term resource plans, taking account of internal and external market influences
Partner with business and functional leadership, stakeholders, and TA team to determine business hiring needs, produce forecasts and develop and implement an organizational recruiting strategy to hire top-talent
Build, develop, and manage a technology-focused talent acquisition team of 2-4
Act as a single point of contact for managers to understand talent acquisition needs and develop pipelines for hard-to-fill or critical positions
Drive continuous improvement through the use and development of accurate and robust talent management metrics and TA analytics
Manages full cycle recruitment process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and hiring manager experience, to include: screening applicants, scheduling interviews, debriefing candidates, presenting and negotiating offers
Continually review and develop best practice recruitment standards
Collaborate with HRBPs in assigned business units to drive to holistic HR to the business
Create and ensure that employer branding, recruitment marketing strategy and associated initiatives remain aligned to the Corporate brand
Identify vendor/partners to source, attract, and hire world class talent

You should also bring the following:

Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of full life-cycle talent acquisition experience with focus on Technology, preferably in the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics space.
3+ years managing recruiting teams and managing direct reports
Ability to influence and communicate with colleagues up to C-level, and the ability to transform ideas into action
Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices including employment laws
Ability to work and interact with all levels of employees and collaborate with cross-functional teams without direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to mentor, train and develop a team
Ability to multi-task and be proactive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients
Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in cultivating and fostering relationships as well as influencing and negotiating partnerships
Excellent negotiating and presentation skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills- Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
