These Multimedia ASICS are co-designed with our Modems, Applications Processors, Analog Codecs and Power Management ICs to deliver highly-integrated, high-performance and low-cost chipsets to our customers and partners.
The candidate is expected to work on the following aspects:
1.You will participate in software development of the neural processing engine (NPE), NPE SDK tools, performance and power optimizations.
2.You will work with neural network frameworks like Caffe and TensorFlow, extend our neural net engine to support the latest and greatest DNNs emerging from the research community, and optimize for next generation hardware acceleration cores.
3.You will also validate the performance and accuracy of the engine through detailed analysis and test coverage.
4.Computer vision & image processing algorithm porting and optimization on our customers demand
5.Development of demo/product applications on Qualcomm platform
6.Performance tuning for both internal solutions and customers applications
7.Tracking cutting-edge computer vision technologies and new emerging application fields
Good at software development with excellent analytical, development, and debugging skills
3+ experience in Android or embedded Linux application development
3+ years of Industrial experience in machine learning, or multimedia areas, or Robotics, or AI
Experience on Neural networks and AI/machine learning methods
Deep learning frameworks Caffe, TensorFlow, Torch Experience with DNNs, CNNs, RNN/LSTM neural networks Essential soft-skills are required for this position Algorithm experience on image processing, computer vision, AI, machine learning related areas is a plus a. General object localization/Detection/Recognition/tracking b. Face detection/ alignment/ recognition/tracking / attribute recognition c. Pedestrian detection/ tracking/ re-identification d. 3D reconstruction / SLAM e. Image segmentation/ video stabilization/ denoising / super-resolution / stitching / enhancement Familiar with ARM/NEON/DSP instructions set is a plus GPU/GPGPU/Graphics experience and knowledge is a plus Experience in processing camera and sensor data is a plus Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written) Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests
