As part of the 802.11ad software group, you will architect, develop and maintain an 11ad WiFi kernel driver for Windows/Windows-on-Snapdragon WDI environments. you will practically own a major portion of the codebase. You will also work on internal/external user-space Windows utilities and applications, and collaborate with partner engineers outside the company. We are a small, fast-moving team, working together to bring big results all across the software layers and target platforms, engineering a cutting edge wireless technology, and providing solution to multiple target customers and products. While collaborating with other engineers in the team, you should expect to get a taste of other domains as well including user-space development, embedded firmware, radio and hardware technologies. We are looking for talented quick-learning developer that is excited about working with innovative connectivity technologies and breaking through barriers to enable new experiences to the end users.
5+ years of solid software engineering experience in C/C++, NDIS/WDI Windows driver development experience and knowledge in 802.11n/ac protocols. You must have strong hand-on problem solving skills, and you must feel comfortable diving into software layers that are not owned by you.
Knowledge in 802.11ad (60Ghz Frequency) specification, and experience with 802.11ad technology. Experience developing kernel drivers for Qualcomms MSM based platforms. Experience with multi-threaded real-time systems.
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree
