As Digital Architect you will be in a client facing role and work closely with WebOps team, developers, delivery managers, product managers, Security operations and senior stakeholders. Performing day-to-day L2 support activities, incident and service request management, problem analysis and resolution, configuration changes, health check & housekeeping activity, Triage tickets to support team, identify bug fixes enhancements and minor code product issues and escalate to appropriate teams, fault logging tracking and resolution, batch processing, interface management, extend support during release and deployment for cloud based AWS applications. An awareness of how to budget in an on-demand environment and an understanding of legal implications.

Key Accountabilities:

Should have strong systems development and architecture experience in diverse cloud environments, with good knowledge of open source technologies and testing
Experience of modern infrastructures such as cloud native infrastructure, virtualization technologies and virtual networking
Experience of configuration management tools like puppet, ansible or chef
Experience of operating a service, including monitoring, diagnosis and incident resolution
Experience designing and implementing secure systems and a good understanding or experience of implementation and running of a PKI
Experience scaling online services
Ability to develop solution design documentation that is reusable and comprehensible for technical teams
Understanding of how to prioritize work in a fast, customer centric, environment
Understanding of agile environments, continual delivery techniques and develops cultures
Understanding of how to influence senior management and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Overall understanding and working knowledge of java based application architecture & Weblogic middleware.
Solve day to day operation support issues
Accountable for meeting & improving SLA & KPIs for the applications
Should be flexible to work in shifts, weekends, Public Holidays on rotational basis
Provide on-call support as and when required.
Suggest improvements
End-to-end ownership of the incidents, communication between business and support teams; issue resolution
Securing incidents are resolved within SLA

Essential experience:

Prior work experience as a Digital Architect specifically in AWS
Strong knowledge of online domain and journeys
Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to critical issues
End to End ticket ownership with a focus on improving user experience through first time resolution and timely response
Knowledge of AWS:
- AWS Cloud Ecosystem (Architect level)
- Containers
- Container Orchestration Platforms
- Templates and Automation
- Python (expert level)
- Ansible
- Jenkins

Primary Skills: AWS Cloud Ecosystem (Architect level), Containers, Container Orchestration Platforms, Templates and Automation, Python (expert level), Ansible, Jenkins

Secondary Skills: CICD lifecycle awareness, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Openshift, Rancher

Ability to lead and articulate end-to-end business processes and the key integration/ control points, work cross-functionally across different business processes
Detail oriented and experienced in documenting processes and SOPs
Engage with business to proactively provide advisory and guidance on risks and controls for new projects, programs, processes and initiatives
