What you’ll be doing...
Verizon Telematics is looking for a well-rounded individual who is capable of managing small to medium change requests or projects to completion. This individual will be responsible for internal Salesforce requests across multiple departments. They need to have the ability to understand the IT systems landscape, and implement solutions that fit in to that landscape. This person will be interacting with all levels of the organization and must have good written and interpersonal communication skills. They will have a strong working relationship with both business owners and the Salesforce team. They need to be able to document end user requirements, communicate those requirements, develop and execute them.
Daily administration and support of Salesforce including security, sharing rules, profiles, roles, groups, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules.
Triage and manage day-to-day Salesforce related help desk tickets (approximately 50-75 tickets per week OR 2,000+ tickets per year).
Aggressively meet case milestones.
Address any feedback issues from end user expectations.
Setup new users based on Roles and Profiles.
Deactivate Users as requested.
Develop and create customized views, reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
Test and deploy customizations and new functionality in sandbox test environments and migrate or implement in production while adhering to change management policies.
Prepare data files and uploads data into Salesforce using API data loader and 3rd party tools such as CRMfusion’s DemandTools.
Collaborate with Salesforce team to execute solutions.
Manage weekly action items.
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent (Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or MIS).
1-2 Years experience in Systems Administration (Preferred: 1-2 Years experience as a Salesforce Administrator).
Hands on with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud.
Confident understanding of Salesforce reporting.
Confident understanding in using Salesforce View and Report logic criteria.
Confident in manipulating data while understanding related object/field functions.
Experience training new users on Force.com platform.
Hands on writing Salesforce Validation, Workflow and Process Builder rules.
Strong writing, presentation, communication and organization skills.
Strong ability to analyze and problem solve.
Ability to work well with team members, customers, and contractors is essential.
Flexible schedule availability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to Travel up to 25%.

Salesforce Certification, or committed intention to get certified within first 12 months of job.
