PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The “SAP Strategy & Transformation Office (STO)” plays a critical role within SAP Digital Business Services, and is providing strategic advisory and SAP product and platform expertise to SAP's customers. The STO is armed with best practices in program management & enterprise architecture; drives conversations with our customer's Enterprise & Solution Architects, Program Managers and decision making stakeholders and ensures a ONE SAP messaging through close collaboration and Cross-Board-partnerships within SAP.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Our advisors are crucial STO Office team members and focused on customer success for SAP Cloud in helping her/his customers to achieve business value faster through technology.

Your main tasks and areas of responsibility will include:

Become a highly certified and recognized SAP Cloud expert through intensive training program (10 weeks intensive training will be provided to every advisor)
Drive with our customers the integration of SAP’s Cloud solutions into their landscapes
Strategic mapping of a customer business roadmap with SAP’s product strategy
Act as a trusted advisor armed with architecture best practices and industry references
Support our customers to achieve the maximum value of their investments into SAP solutions through significantly leveraging the value of increased cloud adoption
Provide Architectural Leadership, develop and represent SAP’s viewpoint to the customer
Contribute to project- & program setup, ensure that SAP solutions are deployed in the best possible way and that Architectural Governance is in place to keep programs on track and anticipate on potential technology related issues
Drive, advise and mentor diverse teams, including customer, partner and SAP resources
Develop strong connection and interaction with SAP’s product development teams
Troubleshoot on key customer implementation issues and drive to successful resolution
Manage customer expectations, negotiate solutions to complex problems with all parties involved. Act a highly visible and respected individual at the customer residence.
Develop strong working relationships with all stakeholders on various levels and drive total customer satisfaction
Take ownership for the further development & growth of the SAP Strategy & Transformation Office (STO) within SAP
Actively contribute to other architecture / CTO communities inside and outside of SAP

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

REQUIRED SKILLS

University degree (or equivalent through experience)
Fluency in English; other languages are an asset
Exposure to multi-cultural environments either from international assignments
Knowledge about SAP Cloud products (SuccessFactors, S/4 HANA, Ariba, Customer Engagement & Commerce, Fieldglass, Concur, etc.)
Business acumen, ability to influence stakeholders and drive business & IT alignment
Hands-on proven skills in Design Thinking and creation of Digital Strategies & roadmaps
High level of flexibility required; willingness to learn on a continuous basis
Focus on customer success, strong entrepreneurship, broad communication capabilities, hands-on mentality, discipline, resilience, cross-organizational team playing and a positive attitude are key pillars of your professional character and expertise
Strong communication skills on all levels in complex multicultural environments
