The QA/Software Developer in Test will work in a cross-functional self-organized Agile team who develop end to end commerce cloud solution. S/he will mainly be responsible for defect prevention by designing, implementing and monitoring test automation and other quality strategies to achieve the highest quality possible. Depending on skills and interest possibility also to take part in feature development.
be involved in the entire development cycle from backlog grooming to integration into the whole product
identify testing needs and acceptance criteria for backlog user stories and features
design, architect and implement automated test frameworks for UI, API layer and backend services
define strategies to minimize manual testing and promote test automation
ensure the team writes and executes the right automated tests by providing the necessary frameworks, environments and support
prevent bugs from being introduced in the code rather than detect bugs in completed code
ensure the team thinks about quality all the time and builds quality into the product
research, investigate and apply automation technologies and quality methodologies to achieve the highest quality possible in shorter development cycles
continually educate the team about good testing practices and automation/testing technologies
Experience with automation testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery
Experience with concepts and technologies to test services in a cloud environment
Strong knowledge of unit, integration, web services & UI testing frameworks such as Jersey Test Framework, Selenium WebDriver, Mockito
Be capable of reviewing and troubleshooting automated tests written by others
Good knowledge of JMeter for continuous performance monitoring.
Experience working with a continuous integration tools - Jenkins or Bamboo
Practical experience working with Java and Spring framework is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
