What you’ll be doing...
Account Managers are responsible for assisting with the sales training, customer support and ultimately performance metrics of National Indirect Sales agents. Duties include but are not limited tovisiting locations weekly or more often as needed, maintaining open communication with agent managers an employees, maintaining customer support for the agents, reporting out on performance of the assigned agents, training and development of agent staff, meeting performance targets and expectations set forth by Verizon, maintaining communication with the Indirect District Manager and working in partnership with them, improving the overall sales of the locations and ultimately maintaining the relationship between the agent and Verizon.
What we’re looking for...
3-5 years of sales, marketing, training, and/or customer service experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Prior account management experience a plus.
Preferred Guideline: If hired into this role, an 18 month time in title and location status is preferred before applying to any other positions.
Evenings and weekends as required.
PC proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation & communication skills are required.
The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
Prior experience in the wireless industry a plus.
This position requires extensive travel throughout the assigned territory.
A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance is required.
