Job Level Specific Duties
Performs the system administration tasks of high complexity on Windows/VMWare environment.
Installs, tests, tunes, maintains, designs and documents supporting systems, utility programs, monitoring tools, etc.
Performs a variety of maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification, and updating of the system software to include system software installations, upgrades, tests, troubleshooting and fixes.
Performs incident management and change management execution.
Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations.
Handles complex incidents escalated by lesser level teams.
Minimum Education and Certifications
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, VMWare, Hardware and Networks.
Excellent knowledge of processes and tools utilized for system management, problem reporting, change management and support tools.
Excellent technical troubleshooting, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Should have extensive working knowledge of the following list of activities:
Creating VAPPS, Virtual machines and Templates.
Cloning of Virtual machines.
VMWARE SNAPSHOT management.
VMWARE Tools management.
Distributed resource scheduling migration and
Storage distributed resource scheduling migration.
Managing ESXi hosts and cluster.
Maintaining Data stores and Storage cluster
Providing access and authorization for accessing servers in datacentre as per the set process.
Performance Analysis and Monitoring of the servers/devices through vsphere.
ISO and Media management for the Guest Operating systems.
Install, configure, manage and troubleshoot all versions of Windows Operating Systems.
Windows performance analysis and reporting.
