PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The SAP Innovation Center Network is a strategic development entity within SAP, combining software engineering excellence with thought leadership and entrepreneurial spirit. Across various focus clusters and by building on strong teams, we pioneer game-changing solutions in close collaboration with startups, customers & partners in industry and research as well as with other SAP units. To ensure a successful go-to-market, we follow an end-to-end responsibility approach.
One of the four focus areas of the SAP Innovation Center is Future of Work in which the development of SAP Knowledge Workspace plays a mayor role. To make Knowledge Workspace a market success, we are looking for an (Associate) Business Developer with a strong background in Solution Management, Go-To-Market, and Field Enablement.
Location for this position is the SAP Innovation Center Potsdam (http://bit.ly/2cBf9DH). There is a shuttle for SAP employees from Berlin to Potsdam and back every working day.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
In this role you will focus on the go-to-market process and the acquisition of new customers for Knowledge Workspace. You will work closely with Business Development, Solution Management, Product Management, Architects and the general management to successfully bring KWS to market. As part of this role you will
Create GTM and field enablement assets
Plan, execute and participate in events as well as demand generation campaigns to spread the word about Knowledge Workspace
Work closely with customers as well as sales and presales colleagues

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Masters degree in business administration, engineering or similar
Good business understanding and commercial acumen
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English
Proactive networker, team-player, results oriented with a can-do-attitude
Open minded, ability to learn quickly and dive into new topics
Experience in planning and executing events
Passion for innovation and leaving the well-trodden path
Experience in creating and maintaining value driven customer relationships
Experience with cloud solutions
Consultative selling skills
We are looking for an outstanding individual with 0-2 years experience in Business Development, Solution Management, Go-To-Market or Marketing.
