IT Governance Lead

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced forward-thinking individual to serve as a Lead supporting the IT Governance Program. This position supports the Unit Chief responsible for formulating and executing the IT Governance Program.
Provide the logistics and facilitation of the Executive-level IT Governance boards.
Assist with fomulating IT policies and manage the governance framework, this includes incorporating customer feedback and coordinating updates.
Identify, analyze and monitor risks and take steps to mitigate and eliminate them.
Interact with all IT governance operations such as CM coordination, enterprise quality management, investment and project assessments and asset management.
Provide support in areas that include scheduling, reserving conference rooms, drafting presentation materials, conducting briefings, drafting minutes, recording and tracking action items, and other related activities.

Qualifications-
Minimum of 5 years of IT governance and project risk management experience
ITIL certification or equivalent experience
PMP certification is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Travel-
Minimum travel may be required to support the work required under this contract.
