What you’ll be doing...
This position encompasses skills required to analyze customer requirements, develop B2B offers & negotiate the merits of these offers both internally and with the customer. The Consultant is tasked to successfully acquire, retain and address the requirements of higher revenue impacting matters, which are associated with these customers. Successful candidate will be required to address an increasing volume of this specified customer segment, and improve the efficiency of the Contracts organization within the B2B Contracts and Proposals team with appropriate systems, as well as qualitative skills.
National VZW ownership for B2B offer generation, negotiation and execution (Contracts, Key Terms of Offer, Contract Amendment, In-building requests, NDAs, etc.) of our B2B customers. Analyze B2B customer requirements and develop required strategy that VZW must utilize in order to win Market B2B accounts. Obtains all Legal, Finance and Operational approvals relating to B2B contracts for Markets. Implements defined strategies that VZW must adhere to in order to win B2B contracts.
Coordinate cross-functional team members on various contractual opportunities to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. Cross-functional organizations could include Sales, Finance, Legal, National Product Development, National Contract Implementations, BGCO, National BFO, Network, external vendors, and VZ affiliates. Identifies and leverages unique opportunities to obtain new business and grow existing customer accounts.
Implement pricing for new Verizon Wireless services to penetrate these new business segments (IoT, BuSS) among B2B customers. Handle the increased administration needs of the Contract’s organization and its clients. Coordinate production (electronic and hard copy) of multiple, often conflicting and with short turnaround periods, requests from high priority/profile customers for proposals, information and informal offers.
Develop particular areas of in-depth expertise in certain areas of contracts as dictated by the needs of the business. Accountable for Company compliance with laws, regulations and guidelines. Point-of-contact for Market B2B Sales teams and key liaison among all HQ/Market departmental personnel to request, follow through upon and capture legal, technical, management, and financial specific responses and approvals.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiance.
3+ years of contracts, and/or proposals experiance.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strategic and critical thinking skills.
Ability to problem solve and adapt to rapidly changing conditions.
Meet deadlines with accuracy.
Even better if you have:
Previous interaction with field sales organizations.
Advance knowledge in Mircrosoft Word and Excel.
Prior legal experience is preferred.
