Network Communication Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operating and maintaining the lifecycle of all secure and non-secure voice networks consisting of user telephone instruments to include plain telephone systems, secure telephone equipment instruments and Voice-over-IP (VoIP) network instruments, voicemail, contact center, emergency response, and integrated computing systems
Managing Cisco Unity servers
Publishing a web-based telephone directory for all telephone systems to include telephone dialing instructions, telephone use policies
Implementing automation tools and databases in support of the web-based telephone directory
Performing regular Cisco routing and switching tasks as needed
Required Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
DOD 8570 IAT Level II required

Required Experience & Skills:

Typically requires at least 8 years relevant experience without a Degree; 3+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 2+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree
3+ years of experience with operating and maintaining Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, and UCS
3+ years of experience with Network Associate skills; assisting in managing layer 2 and layer 3 devices
2+ years of experience with using STIGS, securing networks and network devices
Must possess one or more of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security

ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance required
