Optus Business’ Cloud offering across our Optus Cloud, Data Centre and Ensyst businesses, is moving from strength to strength so we’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager.
Your focus will be to lead product marketing of our Cloud & Data Centre Services across Optus Business, to secure a stronger bridgehead in this exciting emerging market. Primarily, this will involve:
Building an overall product marketing strategy for a business with a combined revenue of over $120 million
Providing training and enablement for Cloud sales specialists, pre-sales specialists and general enablement and awareness for 300 OB account managers
Weekly pipeline reviews, attendance at Cloud Business leadership meetings and preparation of Business Performance Reviews and other adhoc reports
Working with SingTel and OB Marketing to inject Cloud messaging within the overall OB marketing strategy
Evangelizing the Cloud Strategy, at customer and industry events
Plan and execute Cloud focused events with both customers and prospects to help build pipeline

What does success look like?
You’ll have an obvious and extensive pedigree, developing and executing strategic Product Marketing plans, ideally with Cloud products and services like IaaS, SaaS and PaaS. This combined with a strong sales focus and the ability to identify and navigate complex organizational and political customer structures, will be the key to success.
IT product marketing experience is essential, however, knowledge of the cloud marketplace, products, competitors and customer buying criteria and behaviours would represent a distinct advantage. You’ll also require a high level of internal senior stakeholder, senior vendor and client relationship skills (CXO level), along with strong planning abilities to build and drive a cross organizational sales team to deliver results.
