Provide feedback on functionality requests regarding feasibility and complexity.
Analyse and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and application through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution.
Manages developer resource allocation at the project level
Build a high performing team concerning engineering and social aspects
Including hiring the best people from within / outside the company, fostering motivation and integration of employees as well as team learning and development.
Set clear goals with team members, inspires and supports them towards accomplishing these goals and evaluates goal achievement in a fair and understandable way.
Create an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Actively seek to coach and help with personal development. Regularly offer feedback to help others develop.
Manage change effectively and drive efforts to improve the product and processes.
What do you need to bring?
7+ years of development, testing, and deployment experience in a Java environment
Experience in leading training a small to medium sized team of Software Engineers
Programming experience with cloud, SaaS and web-based applications
Experience with going through a full software development cycle
Experience of both Waterfall & Agile methodologies
Working knowledge of Java or J2EE and one or more of these technologies:
Interest in and willingness to learn new technologies and products.
