Senior Product Manager (Product Team—LUCA: Smart Steps—Telefónica)
We are seeking a senior candidate with strong product management and analytical experience, a self-starter who thrives on intellectual problem solving. Working within an innovative product team this role has responsibility for driving innovative (big data) product enhancement, in a global context exploring new capability and developing solutions to maximise the Telelfonica data asset.

The Senior Product Manager will work with commercial, product, and platform colleagues to build new data driven product, solve varied data driven problems, and enhance existing products from platform creation to customer delivery.
You will lead product development in the private sector as a senior product owner across a number of different vertical Markets in a team of both internal/ external resources as you work within a team with global footprint. You will drive and expose customer value, with a focus on delivery and commercially led innovation.
The role will be responsible for owning technical big data products in the Private Sector B2B environment; building analytical solutions, research, and product enhancement, to achieve innovation in the Big Data arena in line with company vision and values. The successful candidate must be able to understand and expose customer value, balancing data science solutions with pragmatic real world solutions, with a focus on commercial success.
A hands-on self starter is required to explore intellectually intriguing problems at the forefont of digital development in the domain of Population Movement, with particular regard to Out of Home advertising and Retail sectors. The Senior Product Manager will work to explore datasets and technologies new to the business to understand value/limitations, and develop solutions to maximise the potential of those datasets. You will guide analytical and operational teams to ensure delivery, and work side by side with take to market teams to ensure customer focus is at the heart of everything we do. The role will act as a global champion in our product capability:
Manage end to end product lifecycle for an existing suite of products, exposing our value proposition to internal and external customers.
Drive global strategy for your suite of products, including in the domain partner relationships, innovation and customer delivery.
Understanding the analytical features of Smart Steps and other portfolio products, demonstrating these to prospect clients to support the Sales teams with the development of new business opportunities.
Be a key part of a world class product development team, actively contributing to the development of new products.
Come up with solutions to solve problems, working with new datasets and technologies.
Extract information from data through analysis, and prepare storylines that will bring forward the most relevant insights to different industry verticals;
Work proactively to understand new technologies and their relationship with existing capability. Understanding strengths and weakness of these technologies, and measuring quality there-in.
Act as a knowledge expert for analytical colleagues working in an array of verticals (from transport planners to retail modellers)
