What you'll be doing:

As Senior Buyer (English+French), you will be in charge of:
Developing and maintaining knowledge of a category, region or function in which they operate including market dynamics and product life cycles
Working within the category, region or function team to determine the appropriate approach to market, the optimum commercial models and supplier relationships for a product/service or element of a category
Carrying out due diligence of Purchase Requisitions and eventually conducting negotiations per agreement with Category Managers to achieve maximum savings on a single order basis, Negotiating commercial and contractual arrangements with suppliers for all products and services, including loading information onto appropriate systems
Managing the supply base to ensure delivery against contractual and commercial commitments and “On Contract” supplier performance and ensure business benefit is realised
Taking personal ownership for utilisation of contracts, ensuring that order channel strategy enables internal business partners to order items efficiently and contracts reflect customer requirements for their duration
Working closely with internal business partners to understand their requirements and Supporting Category Managers, Buyers on maintenance of their categories as assigned from time to time
Creating reports for the Procurement Team

Soft skills:
Ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements is a must
Focusing on the objectives and the required outcomes of the processes during delivering a service is a must
Working with a cooperative and positive attitude in a group settings to achieve common goals is a must
The ability to convey information to someone effectively and efficiently while creating a good first impression and engaging the audience is a must
Taking the responsibility and takes care of the consequences of making a decision is a must
Acting in advance of a future situation, e.g. making things happen, putting energy to solve the situation is a must
Good commercial sence is a must
Ethical Trading practice is a must
Excellent problem solving skills is a must

Professional skills:
At least 3-5 years experience in a Buyer role is a must
Ability to generate MIS and data analysis for the categories is a must
Familiarity with modern sourcing tools (like e-Auctions, e-Negotiations, ERP) is an advantage
Experience in telecommunication field is an advantage
Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel (pivots) is a must

Language skills:
English on a fluent level is a must
French on a fluent level is a must
any European language on a fluent level is an advantage
