Market & Competitive Intelligence Manager (Services)

We are currently looking for talented and skilled Market and Competitive Intelligence Manager to help us grow our global footprint and be responsible for strategic planning and market research activities, business positioning, market share and competitive analysis.

Your team:

The Strategy department is at the centre of Motorola Solutions Europe, Middle & Africa organisation, an organisation with around $1 billion annual sales and presence in many countries across the region. The Strategy department is in charge of coordinating the strategy & the alignment of resources into growth opportunities.

Your role:

As a Market and Competitive Intelligence Manager you will be responsible for:

Gathering, analyzing and delivering intelligence on services competitiveness (market conditions, competitors offering and customer’s requirements) for business decision-making and specific projects (50%):

Liaising with product/service organisation, sales organisation and external sources to gather information and build an understanding of competitor strategies, pricing, tender behaviors.
Handling analyses of competitor’s ecosystems/alliances and presenting findings as well as recommendations to senior management in audience appropriate format.
Providing direction to build winning strategies related to large projects where Motorola bids
Delivering strategic options to differentiate from competitors on ongoing projects, supporting local teams.
Delivering market planning and regional go-to-market service strategies on services (40%):
Executing and driving prioritized regional, country or key account planning activities to capture growth in specific geographies or key accounts.
Working with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. Serving as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
Supporting promotion process with inputs on required pricing.

Motorola Solutions strategic processes (10%):

Becoming a key EMEA coordinator and input provider into international and corporate led processes & projects.
Equally provide meaningful inputs to EMEA management session and yearly strategy process.

Experience:

Extensive experience in an international high-tech telecom related company or consultant group, with focus on services.
Competitive intelligence position experience
Confirmed ability to work with sales organizations and product teams
Proven ability to deliver high quality presentation (Powerpoint) and pitch to executive audiences
Education:
University degree in Strategy, Business or related subjects. An engineering background will be appreciated if complemented with business education/experience
MBA is not a requirement but will be a plus
Working level technical knowledge in radio infrastructure appreciated
English plus another European language required (additional language skills will be highly valued)
