What you’ll be doing...
The Single Sign On (SSO) team is part of Digital Work Place (DWP) organization. The SSO team provides authentication and Authorization services to internal VZ homegrown apps and Vendor hosted apps. SSO infrastructure is based on Computer Associates’ Siteminder product. The SSO team has developed many custom solutions around Siteminder to meet the demand and requirements of VZ.
The responsibility of this position is to develop, manage and maintain desktop and Mobile Single Sign On solution. Desktop SSO solution is already developed and requires regular updates to meet new requirements and/or resolve issues/bugs. Solution for Mobile devices is in the infancy stage using latest methodologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, deploy and support Android/iOS based mobile Single Sign On (SSO) application using DevOps model.
Develop solution using Cordova framework.
Write technical documentation and user guides
Customer Service and Tier 2 support for all Desktop and mobile SSO application
Provide support to applications and users in non-Production and Production environments.
Work with cross functional teams located across VZ to develop, test and debug desktop and mobile SSO applications.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline,or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2007 and Windows 10 architecture.
Knowledge of all browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox) architecture.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
Knowledge of Client-Server methodologies.
Knowledge of multiple operating systems (UNIX, LINUX and Windows).
Knowledge of Oracle Webserver 7.x (SUN JAVA Web Server) and IIS 7.x.
Knowledge with Network concepts/protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP).
Knowledge of Remote Control Technologies (such as VNC, MS Terminal Service, SMS, Marimba, or DameWare).
Knowledge in IP networking, Application traffic flows, and Security best practices.

Excellent PC Desktop, Laptop, and Macintosh trouble-shooting skills.

3+ years working experience with Siteminder
2+ years working Experience with MS Active Directory and Oracle Sun LDAP
3+ working experience with UNIX/LINUS Operating System. Able to develop shell scripting.
Demonstration of strong leadership skills.
Demonstration of strong partnership and collaboration skills.
Demonstration of strong program management skills.
Ability to own issues/risk decisions and manage on an ongoing basis.
Ability to create action plans and lead to resolutions.
Ability to identify opportunities to streamline processes and create efficiencies.
