Understands (ITIL) framework in regards to change management procedures.
Experience working directly with customers to validate, confirm and assess their application connectivity requirements after network changes.
Experience with Pre and Post testing verification for network changes.
Experience with articulating and writing Network change plan execution steps.
Experience reviewing technical network requirements with the change requestor and customer.
Experience assisting customers with (MACD) change management procedures.
Experience developing and maintaining network documentation/diagrams utilizing (MS-Visio).
Experience establishing performance benchmarks for deployed load balancers, firewall, and Cisco routing/switching solutions.
Experience Performing hardware and software upgrades.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
Hands-on Experience with OSPF, and EIGRP, BGP, HSRP.
Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.
Hands-on experience with 802.1q, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLAN, MPLS.
Hands-on experience with configuring VPN tunnels.
Experience with TCP/IP packet analysis, using Wireshark or raw packet captures using tcpdump.
Excellent technical critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong understanding of troubleshooting techniques utilizing the OSI model.
Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on Experience and exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls.
Hands-on Experience and exposure to (F5 GTMs & LTMs).
Experience working in a high availability environment with a 99.99% SLA.
Experience with completing managerial assigned task with minimal supervision.
Experience working in a network environment with a 24/7 on-call rotation.
10% of travel. Primarily for training purposes.
Exposure to SDN/NFV Networking Technologies
Travel Industry experience is preferred
CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto, and F5 certifications preferred
Project Management Skills preferred
