KEY Responsibilities
Creative Direction, Leadership and Execution
Provides creative direction and coaching while partnering with team to accomplish creative objectives
Provides creative quality control over concepts and execution
Directs complex, medium-scale project activities and effectively leads the work of the creative studio team.
Leads execution of Tier 1& 2 creative work on select projects including development of presentations and headlines and copy.
Provides brand guidance and direction to ensure consistent alignment with brand standards & tone.
Works harmoniously with others to get a job done and leads the team in a collaborative fashion
Shares critical information with everyone involved in a project to produce more effective creative solutions
Works in partnership within the creative group and across the organization; promotes a “be of service” solution-oriented mentality across the team
Finds common ground with clients when debating creative or strategic opinions
Client Service
Builds strong relationships with clients; perceived as credible, trusted advisor
Partners with clients to achieve effective outcomes in an efficient manner
Works with clients to articulate creative needs concisely, yet completely
Appropriately balances client desires, business requirements and marketing strategies
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s degree preferred.Preferably in advertising, English, journalism or related field.
Minimum of Seven years professional experience required; four as a copywriter
Comfortable presenting concepts to clients
Demonstrated creative conceptualization skills along with experience in integrating concepts across different media channels
Three years experience in directing creative teams
Portfolio required.
In-House or external agency experience required.
Hands on experience in copywriting
Effective communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge in industry-standard software and tools such as the MS Office, Adobe Acrobat & Keynote
Demonstrates experience in brand development as well as traditional and emerging multichannel marketing
Develops creative strategies to address marketing and business objectives for regional initiatives
Understands that all projects require attention to detail so that work is on-time, on-budget and on-strategy
Knows how to be persuasive and/or negotiate when selling in ideas
