Account Manager

SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Establish relationships with and support the Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Technical Sales Teams and Enterprise Infrastructure teams including: Sales, Marketing, Field Sales, Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Channel Partners, Direct Sales, and others as needed to help promote and sell Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Branded Datacenter Infrastructure Products as well as the Vertiv portfolio. The individual will build and foster relationships with the Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft outside field sales teams. Secondarily, the individual will on occasion work with the inside call center teams.

· Evangelize Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Branded Products, Avocent branded products, and Liebert Brand explaining their value proposition, capabilities and technology to Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft and their partners. Promote and drive Solutions opportunities with the Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Field Teams. Identify deals in their early stages and manage those deals all the way through closure and in some cases delivery.

· Engage with Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Marketing and Events Team to understand their businesses model and use this knowledge to prepare and execute marketing and sales strategies in conjunction with their sales and marketing strategies.

· Create, prepare and conduct training for Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft sales and their partners to promote and sell the Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft and Vertiv portfolio, including Solutions.

· Work in conjunction with product specialist as needed to drive opportunities for internal sales to Apple, Google, or Facebook or Microsoft as appropriate. This includes Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft solution centers, datacenters, and labs in an effort to position all Vertiv products.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· As appropriate, work with Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft's ESI organization. Coordinate with the Vertiv lead managing the ESI partnership.

· Maintain and keep current the opportunities in CRM. Work and coordinate internally for resources to pursue deals.




REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
None

INTERACTIONS:
· Direct involvement with end user customers at all levels of their organization. Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft teams including Sales Reps, Marketing, Executives.

·Vertiv Product Managers as well as other Vertiv management and departments.

· Interact with application engineering on designing solutions to meet Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft identified requirements
· Interact with Directors and VP’s to share beneficial information regarding management of the Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft account.
· Involve LBP and FDO channels in coordinating local coverage for Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft identified opportunities. Drive engagement at a local level and help with account mapping sessions.
· Engage with Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft Field Resources and Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft's End customers and determine how customer’s strategy aligns with Vertiv’s strategic initiatives. Work with a variety of teams within customer account including, engineering, product management, and solution sales to understand what Vertiv products could be positioned and won via Apple, Google, Facebook or Microsoft.
