Duties of the Strategic Account Manager include:
Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct and indirect sales channel within large enterprise accounts
Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business for the 5-8 accounts you manage
Write business plans/Account Plans for all current and opportunity tender business
You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions internally
Forecast and planning responsibility
Requirements of the role:
Demonstrable sales and/or account management experience in IT security solutions
Secure new business by selling complete solutions supported by our range of products and services i.e. software licenses, professional services, customer training, maintenance agreements and support
Documented track record of over-achievement against quota
Proven Sales experience and success with Large transactions (1M+)
Relationships at C-Level within large enterprise accounts
Strong account management and relationship building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Giving sales presentations to high-level executives
Building new business relationships using existing industry contacts
Disciplined, decisive and innovative mind to be able to avoid or get around blocks and maximise market opportunities
Self-confident with presence and credibility
Self-starter with ability to apply initiative
Strong listening and question style
Approaches task with dynamism, drive and focus
Proven ability to engage and influence the customer
Holds self-accountable
Predilection for continual self-development
Excellent and credible presentation and enablement skills
Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English language
Excellent time management
Fluency in English is required
Customer Network (track records) on Hidden Champions
Security sales + Know how in industry
End user sales experience is a necessity
A degree or equivalent is essential
Strong achievement against quota
