Work directly with business departments and facilitate business needs identification process (and optimize them) proactively based on broad business/technology knowledge.
Design systems supporting Sales and Marketing functions and make vendor recommendations for products/solutions/services/ implementations based on needs analysis and implementation requirements.
Working closely with internal business partners to develop business requirements to support enterprise systems.
Manage selected vendors’ timelines and service levels within budget.
Monitor service levels to meet business strategic goals; evaluate/escalate if and when appropriate actions are needed.
Identify system improvement opportunities as well as opportunities to leverage existing systems to create strategic business advantage.
Act as technical liaison between related departments, business partners, vendors and other members within the IT group, in particular when implementing and troubleshooting systems.
Work closely with global business/IT resources to update global inventory of applications as well as to launch exising solutions globally, so that client can maintain a lean applications portfolio.
Maintain process maps, entity relationship diagrams, data dependency diagrams and applications relationship maps.
Support system development standards and service management standards including change management, incident management, and internal SLA’s
List working relationships inside/outside of the organization other than your Direct Manager:Sales & Marketing, Finance, Accounting, HR, Supply Chain departments of client. (from department head to staff level) Other members of Client IT organization, locally and globally.Various IT vendors providing products, solutions and/or services.
Nice to have skills:
Minimum 8 or more years experience in identifying, designing, and implementing system needs in Sales and Marketing domains.
Experience in designing, implementing, and managing sales data reporting and analysis, and experience in managing IT Partners and off-shore implementation companies.
Experience in development and service management standards; ITIL a plus and experience in data integration and master data management is a plus.
Prior experience in managing applications landscape at pharmaceutical company is a plus.
Prior experience with enterprise data warehouse models and BI is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, presentation, documentation, facilitation and communication skills.
Degree: BS degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MBA a plus.
Minimum 5 years experience in business analysis skills.
