Provide functional and technical expertise to support Oracle 11i/R12 E-Business suite production and development environments.
Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Identifying the current and future-state business processes.
Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution.
Understand the Business process requirements and design the solution required. Understand the impact a process change might have on the system and be able to guide process definitions accordingly.
Performs technical design on integrations, forms, reports, workflow and extensions/customizations.
Perform unit testing of the components delivered by DEV team, Collaborate with business and help them build test cases and co-ordinate with UAT
Provide resolution to support issues and responsible for escalation procedures while retaining ownership of the issues. Manage Service Requests with Oracle Support.
Work with different teams including SFDC, Integration and Networking to resolve the support issues.
Participate in the development of user documentation for new applications.
Support different applications and users working in multiple geographical locations.
Critical Job Elements
6 years of experience working as an Oracle ERP Business Systems Analyst
Must have experience with these e-business suite applications: Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, Repair process, Receivables, Service Contracts and Install Base modules.
Good understanding of Oracle E-Business suite-11i/R12 data model with TCA architecture and Open Interface/APIs in Service Contracts, Order Management, Inventory and Install Base.
Ability to create technical document (MD070) and work in collaboration with Dev team to develop extensions/ customizations, reports, workflow and interfaces
4+ years of hands on experience with SQL,PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Discoverer, XML/BI publisher, Unix Shell Scripting and Workflow.
Root cause analysis and complex problem solving skills are important.
Experience engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues.
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in a business systems analyst role supporting Oracle E-Business suite
