Senior Electrical Engineering Manager

Our optical inspection an metrology tools will support the next several generations of wafer and IC manufacturing. We incorporate UV laser technology, darkfield optics, and advanced algorithms to find defects down to 15nm in size and enables consistent, high sensitivity detection on engineered substrates.

Responsibilities

Manage the electrical engineering group with direct involvement with multiple program teams

Generate project plans, schedules, and budgets for applicable subsystems
Generate specification an requirements from high level system requirements
Provide technical oversight for te development of all electrical subsystems from initial concept development to production release
Drive the technology roadmap for key electrical subsystems
Manage external vendors or contractor to deliver subsystem that meet design specifications
Work with other engineering groups to ensure flawless integration and test at the subsystem and system level
Develop the required supporting documentation
Work closely with and manages suppliers to ensure all design requirements are specified and achieved
Address and resolve product issues through the product phases
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in managing electrical engineering team for highly complex inspection equipment
Solid knowledge in both analog and digital electrica board design
Previous experience with vendor management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sensitivity to cost, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability concerns
Knowledge of PLC process is desired
Experience in the semiconductor industry
Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) with at least 5 years of experience OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 6 years of experience OR
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 7 years of experience
