Administration, Configuration and Troubleshooting of Network and Firewall infrastructure set-up.
Leading the configuration and management of network management software, including maintenance and administration and review of proposed network changes.
Apply global information security office network access standards and security zone standards to build firewall rule policies in respect of production support and change requests.
Work as a key member of Network Support team with broad knowledge of currently supported firewall and VPN technologies.
Provide Level 2/3 support for Operations during business-critical incidents requiring knowledge of incident management, change management, troubleshooting methods & tools, log review, monitoring, alerting & reporting.
Participate in War Room sessions initiated by the Command Center to drive critical issue resolution
Manage escalation of issues from Level 1-2 support
Willing to be on-call at any time due to the nature of the position
Ensure that knowledge is retained through documentation of procedures and knowledge base articles
Reviewing technology in the market for opportunities to improve services and make purchase recommendations
Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with 7+ years of industry experience in Network Support. Relevant Certifications on Cisco products like CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS and JNCIA.
Demonstrated experience of troubleshooting complex network problems in technologies including routing, switching, and load-balancing; networking components, including Cisco technologies (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, UCS), and strong experience with TCP/IP, SPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, HSRP.
Experience with the Cisco Nexus OS, with a STRONG preference for experience with Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) framework.
Experience of the operation of Juniper Netscreen/SRX, Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, Juniper/Pulse Secure VPN and their limitations and deployment scenarios, and other flavors of client VPNs.
Experience with NSPM tools such as Juniper NSM, JunOS Space, Cisco ASDM, CSM, Tufin for delivery of uniform global policies across multiple firewalls for security and policy management including device configuration.
Experience with identifying application layer security issues and performing assessments.
Experience providing the right balance of the problem solving and technical hands-on network/security analysis and operation skills.
Exposure to Fortinet, Cisco ISE, F5, Bluecoat Proxy, Packetshaper is a plus.
