General Description

Performs operational activities related to 2nd/3rd level environment in order to provide IT services and fulfill relevant KPI’s
Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes
Identify weaknesses in used IT processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards



Is part of team responsible for small Linux based environment with strong focus on security/integrity
Is responsible for administration of FTP service under Linux (RedHat) and Cobbler, Satelite (used for deployment)
Actively supports all relevant ITIL processes (INM, CHM, PRM, CfM, RDM) helping to keep environment under control following defined security policies
Keeps himself updated in terms of hardening trends and reflects them in the infrastructure


Diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to highly secure IT infrastructure
Restore normal service operation in case of Incident to fulfil SLA/OLA
Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation
Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority
Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance. Any deviations between the two should be understood and proactively remediated, with vendors if necessary
Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations
Create and maintain technical documentation to support IT service

University degree

3-5 years of experience with administration of IT environment

English: min. B2+ (mandatory)
German: min. A2+ (optional)

Expert knowledge and experience with ICT environment (Windows and/or Linux and/or Symantec AV and/or MS Sharepoint and/or McAfee Mail Relay ) verified by professional level certification exams preferably from multiple vendors
ITIL knowledge related to operational processes
Technical / Network skills & knowledge
Extensive knowledge of TC product Portfolio & Processes
Analytical skills
Effective communication
Ability to work in team and independently, willingness to change, flexibility
Customer, value, result and performance orientation
