PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As the management consulting team of SAP, Business Transformation Services (BTS) works with SAP customers to:
Develop & align business processes, IT and strategic goals
Evaluate SAP IT Architecture Changes and Impact to IT Governance and Processes
Implement Enterprise Architecture Management
Prepare investment decisions based on detailed business case examinations
Enable cost reductions (total cost of operation) and process efficiency (total value of ownership)
Define and coordinate large SAP IT Transformation Programs (e.g. S/4 HANA Adoption, Digitalization)
Overall, BTS’s goal is to create Innovations which positively influence company’s growth, profitability, and strategic positioning.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Prepare and execute customer workshops
Lead projects involving alignment of multiple teams, including consultants from different areas of expertise and departments, regions and cultures
Manage customer challenges and escalations in a proactive and structured manner
Consult SAP customers on business and IT alignment in terms of IT Architecture and SAP Solution Design
Perform TCO and cost estimate analysis for large-scale IT and business process projects
Analyze, evaluate, map and make proposals to align business processes & IT architecture
Roll-out complex IT and business process transformations for global companies
Establish IT Value and Benefit Management in the context of business process transformations
Captures opinions, expectations, and messages from stakeholders and effectively communicates them to colleagues & managers
Responsible for knowledge sharing, mentoring and coaching of less-experience colleagues of the Consulting Area to drive people development.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelors or Masters degree (preferably in business/economics, finance, or IT) or an MBA
Knowledgeable of SAP Solution Portfolio and SAP Technology Stacks
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Inspiring and Motivating on-site team leadership
Strong problem solving abilities & out-of-the box thinking
Understanding of IT trends and their impact on business strategies
Excellent English and German Language skills
3+ years experience in SAP related Consulting or similar
Project management experience
Results driven: starts, drives and accomplishes complex tasks with little direction
People oriented: builds strong, long lasting relationships at every level of the customer’s organization and is a strong motivator as well as inspiring leader who knows how to influence others to do their best work.
Interpersonal skills: ability to interact and consult with CXO’s of customers and partners on a regular basis.
