Key Responsibilities -
Act as the design lead to review requirements and solutions deliverables ensuring these align with agreed design patterns and roadmaps.
Translate end-to-end logical and functional specifications into high level and detailed design documentation for Service Integration systems to a high quality and timeliness
Create mapping , interface specifications, use case, and data model documentation as appropriate
Provide estimates of the effort required for specific deliverables when requested
Ensure that all relevant regulatory controls and operational processes are built into delivered designs and deliver process improvements as applicable
Support prototyping activity with the relevant development teams and users
Monitor and manage all deliverables provided by external suppliers (contractors, OSPs, software vendors etc)
Work with other team members to drive process improvements across partner teams and organisations.
Support operational teams as necessary to investigate and resolve incidents.

Gain reputation and respect as the recognised expert in a number of particular systems subject areas
Within own function:
Working with Domain Experts to understand design patterns and system roadmaps and to ensure that designs align with these roadmaps. Work with Domain Experts to resolve differences between project requirements and design patterns.
Working with design peers in the SI team and in other teams to share and develop key principles and working practices to evolve and improve design processes, documentation and patterns.
Working with the development community to ensure appropriate solutions are chosen.
Working with build and environments teams to ensure smooth delivery to test and production.
