The Contract Manager will be responsible for both pre-sales and post sales contract management for major leading UK broadcasting customers. Role is crucial for the customer relationships, drives key initiatives on improving contract profitability, revenue assurance and contract governance.

The role is part of the Commercial management team, reporting to the Head of Commercial Management

Responsibilities & Tasks

· Drive the creation of the end-to-end contract strategy

· Ensure conversion of the commercial and contract strategy, into the proposal

· Drive the drafting, negotiation and finalization of the contract

· Ensure Contract Sign off and Handover

· Develop & drive the planning and execution of Contract Governance Preparation & its Execution

· Manage customer commercial and contract relationships and resolution of dispute escalations

· Monitor contract performance, including operational and financial targets. Initiate or support corrective actions.

· Active involvement in contract change control

· Initiate, draft and negotiate contract variations and amendments as needed

· Ensure Contract Completion Verification

· Drive Contract Finalization & closure

· Drive Contract management excellence

To perform these responsibilities, the Contract Manager will be required to work collaboratively and be able to influence many functions including sales, legal, operations, programme management, sourcing, finance and the customer.

· Contract Management (IACCM or similar accreditation is a plus)

· Experience and knowledge of the UK broadcast media industry is strongly desired

· Experience and knowledge of the managed services industry

· Experience working in a bid environment, Knowledge of RFI, RFP, RFQ process is a plus
