Key Accountabilities:

* Management of inventory levels in all BP locations
* Responsible for £100M Budget
* Identify, authorise and organise Returns process
* Analyse project forecasts and provide analytical reports to the wider team on a monthly basis
* Provide insight, analysis and risks to key stakeholders through constant monitoring
* Work closely with the demand planners on forecasts ensuring trends are identified and replicated
* Highlight shortages and capacity constraint possibilities as soon as possible
* Continually review forecasts and schedules to promote performance improvements and cost efficiencies
* Perform weekly and monthly administrative tasks in relation to the forecasting process
* Responsible for extracting consistent and accurate data
* Participate in Supply Chain improvement projects
* Support other areas of Supply Chain operations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Good understanding of planning, developing and operating optimized inventory models developed during Material and Inventory Planning to guide inventory management objectives
* KPIs to measure results and drive performance improvements
* Highly organised and analytical.
* Knowledge of monitoring a defined Budget
* Good working knowledge of ERP and purchasing processes and applications i.e. SAP, Oracle
* Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Powerpoint
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to develop and deliver executive level reporting.
* Able to demonstrate advanced Excel skills
* A problem-solver and a confident, pro-active communicator
* S&OP experience would be advantageous
