As the Zero Harm Data Analyst in our Health and Safety team you will be the key point of contact for assisting, advising and supporting with reports and data analysis. We currently have accident data coming in from across the business and it will be your role to work through these large data sets on Excel and create meaningful dashboards which paint an accurate picture of the current landscape. On top of this, you will be helping to coordinate the team, working through the shared mailbox and ensuring they stay on track with projects that are ongoing within the area. This role is a great development role and if you would like to progress your career in Health and Safety, the team have a clear career path that you can follow in a department who’s main goal is to ensure employees, contractors, customers and visitors to go home safe every day!
From a raw skills and experience perspective you must have strong Excel skills and be very comfortable working with formulas, VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables. Beyond this however, you will need to have an inquisitive mind that wants to dig further into the detail. You must have a desire to turn data into a bit more of a story and be interested in not just looking at the detail but also the bigger picture. The role would likely suit you if you’re a graduate who used Excel quite extensively during a degree or you’ve started your career in a similar role and want to move to a business to be part of an exciting team that champion career development and personal development
