What you’ll be doing...
As the Senior Consumer Insights Manager, you will identify and solve complex issues for the business. The insights developed by you and your team will drive winning strategies by creating a ‘consumer centric’ approach to marketing and operations.
You will identify and develop the insights needed for the business units to create their Annual Marketing plans. You will identify critical consumer insights around pricing, promotion, and, emerging trends. These insights will be used to identify ‘Where to Play and How to Win’ for the next year.
Using the consumer segmentation, you will also drive the creation of new Value Propositions (including optimal pricing, feature bundles and positioning) that will give the company a competitive advantage, drive gross ads and reduce churn for the business. You will utilize and synthesize data from multiple sources (both ‘big data’, survey data, qualitative and social media insights). You will design and execute custom market research projects to further explore the unique needs of the consumers to identify unmet needs that provide opportunities for new winning products and services.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience building relationships with business leaders.
Knowledge of existing quantitative and qualitative research techniques and emerging trends.
Experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
Even better if you have:
An advanced degree, preferably in business, statistics or social sciences (including psychology or sociology).
Demonstrated ability to manage high performing teams and develop emerging talent.
Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Experience consulting with the ability to influence decisions made by the business.
Experience synthesizing and using multiple data sources to solve business problems
