RF switch circuit architecture, planning, design, simulation, verification, and production ramp support of highly integrated, high volume ICs for high-growth, fast-paced, and competitive wireless handset market. Knowledge of switch control circuit experiences a plus. Familiarity with cellular standards will be useful. The candidate must be able to work well with other design engineers, system engineers and CAD layout designers. Good understanding of semiconductor physics and strong circuit intuition/simulation skills utilizing Cadence is necessary. #LI-DB1
•BSEE and 8 years’ experience required, MSEE preferred.
•Demonstrated RF Switch architecture, design and layout experience using SOI
•Strong understanding of SOI fabrication, substrate, device model and how it affects the overall switch performance
•Strong understanding of theoretical device limit on Insertion loss, Harmonics, power handling, Isolation, breakdown and ESD performance.
•Demonstrated experience designing, debugging, resolving and applying techniques to improve IL, Harmonics, power handling, isolation, ESD through circuit innovations and layout optimization.
•Solid understanding of rf switch analog control and biasing circuits
•Layout experience using the Cadence flow, ability to work with CAD engineers and provide guidance on switch layouts
•Hands-on experience integrating RF switches with PA/LNA and antenna switch modules
•Hands-on experience with RF test equipment
•Proficient with Cadence and other simulation tools such as ADS, EMX, Momentum, HFSS etc
•TCAD device simulation experience a plus
•Good communication, organization and presentation skills
