Responsibilities

Project Management
Manages and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of major projects in order to support the overall project management strategy.

Policy Development & Implementation
Participates in developing policies for area of responsibility, creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation within the organization.

Performance Management
Helps manage the performance of direct reports by working within performance management systems.

Legal
Manages the provision of a strategic legal service element within the organization.

Leadership and Direction
Develops and/or delivers a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.

Document Preparation
Writes and edits materials for a variety of target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience.

Client & Customer Management (Internal)
Manage relationships with key internal customers and act as their business partner, while typically using support teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Budgeting & Costing
Tracks budgets and brings variances to the attention of senior colleagues while working within established budgeting systems.

Technical Skills
Planning and Organizing
Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.

Performance Management
Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on building a high-performance culture by designing and delivering programs that accurately assess and recognize the skills and capabilities that the organization needs to achieve success.

Negotiation
Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to negotiate independently while providing guidance and training to others on how to help the organization by obtaining consensus between two or more internal or external parties who may have different interests.

Law and Regulation
Applies expertise to act as the organizational authority on how to professionally interpret and apply knowledge of laws and regulations.

Commercial Acumen
Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions without supervision, while also providing technical assistance when necessary.

Writing skills
Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective writing skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
