Job Description

Primary focus for the Education Manager is to exceed targets for regional growth. To make sure that the VATCs complement the business direct Education sales, delivering growth working in partnership with the VMware teams. The Education Partner Manager has to drive reseller sales of advanced and digital curricula and minimize price competition across all countries in their region.

Key sales goals are based on:
•VATC Revenue
•Reseller sales of courses (Digital & ILT)
•Credit engagement management

Primary Accountabilities
- Achieve the correct balance of VATCs in each country to ensure adequate sales and geographic coverage along with minimizing aggressive competition between them.

Good balance of product coverage through the region
Create and maintain VATC relationships
Work with the top VATCs in region to drive growth and develop the market
Work with each major VATC to review and develop VATC business plans
Drive VATC revenue by promoting classes and sales team education at the VATCs
Work with local Marketing team, Channel Managers, Corporate Account Managers and Education Manager to market Education programs
Assist VATC with Education marketing activities
Work with EMEA Education team to understand and build the strategy
Develop sales and marketing initiatives
-Strong Account Management skills required
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
-Knowledge of IT Training industry
-Knowledge of VMware products and certifications are preferred
-Experience in Education/Training preferred
-Sales experience is essential
