Environment Manager

The Environment Portfolio candidate will have a desire to excel and contribute in a high impact organization. Candidate and will be responsible for assisting in creating, implementing and managing the ongoing project planning, process and governance of creating and maintaining our test environments initiatives. The candidate will have experience driving change at a large organization and be able to manage multiple projects at any given time. The individual must be comfortable presenting to senior leaders and large audiences, and must have an understanding and passion for the Salesforce.com platform from both a functional and business perspective.


This position will report to the Manager of Environment Management and Deployment Services and will interact with senior management and individual contributors with cross-functional teams throughout the organization Candidate must have ability to lead and influence technical teams to work toward a common integrated environment strategy and plan. Responsibility for this role during the subsequent implementation phase will become either project management or technical architect for leading the design and implementation of the chosen RMS solution and project environments through go-live.


Responsibilities

Create the environment strategy required to support the Development, QA, UAT, and Production go-live for projects in the pipeline.

Create an initial plan for building out the project environments and the associated boundary applications for the implementation phase.

Manage change management activities like scope change, project drift and impact of multiple projects in a chosen swim lane.

Support local teams on adoption and training best practices and adherence to environment ant Trust standards

Ensure local teams are following program rules of engagement and defined processes

Create program metrics and KPIs

Provide day to day SFDC platform reporting to the portfolio management group

Develop & maintain reporting and dashboard functions

Work closely with the teams to review processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation

Work with all User groups to assess new features/capabilities within Salesforce as it relates to the test environments.

Perform special projects as required

Required Skills

5 years of IT technical experiences with leadership roles in multiple phases of software development lifecycle.

Prior IT project or System Integrator job experiences in designing and implementing project environment strategy and plan for complex enterprise IT application solutions.

Experiences with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Environment Planning & Management, Development Operations (DevOps), Technical Architecture, or Infrastructure Project Management

Prior experience with Salesforce.com implementations, or Release Management for complex multi-release programs is a plus.

Good project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups

Ability to engage with emotional intelligence as required to avoid conflicts with customers based on personality differences and to make suggestions in a manner that is more likely to result in a desired outcome

Must be a self-starter and Salesforce enthusiast who thrives on working in fast-paced environment

Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus

Familiarity with SOX protocols, Change Management a
