As part of the Field Services team at Secusmart, you will be responsible for configuration, deployment and technical support of Secusmart products as well as project managing customers on a technical level in both government and enterprise. You’ll use your own technical expertise to ensure project success and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure fault free usage by our customers.

Take technical and overall project ownership for customer deployments, structuring a roadmap and timeline for successful technical implementation of Secusmart products including installation, and ongoing customer training and support
Design network solutions and carry out installation, configuration and migration work as well as starting up systems at customer premises (with travel both in Germany and worldwide occasionally required)
Perform systematic and careful error analysis, including the development of new solutions and be actively involved in problem, change and release management
Create clear and comprehensive project and user documentation
Devise and design training for customers on the Secusmart solution as necessary
Provide technical support to customers alongside the wider team, and occasionally supervising and organising subcontractor technical resources to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate escalations, including escalating incidents as necessary to management and suppliers and ensuring updates are shared with customers
Provide technical support to our product management and sales teams
You will have:
Qualification as a professionally trained IT specialist, systems integrator or similar experience
Technical project management experience, with the ability and initiative to structure and organise your own workload and time
Demonstrated experience of working in network administration and systems integration in heterogeneous environments
Knowledge of network protocols and services (LAN/WAN routing, switching, tagged VLAN, firewalling, VPN, SIP, DNS)
Understanding of administering Linux systems (RedHat/CentOS) on command-line level.
Knowledge of VMware virtualisation in systems requiring high availability including experience of how to manage/administer virtual machines
Understanding of client and server hardware and SAN
Reliable and conscientious, with good analytical reasoning skills
Ability to present complicated topics to customers in a structured and easy to understand manner
Ability to work efficiently both independently and alongside a team, with strong interpersonal skills in English and German
Excellent customer skills, with a passion for delivering quality customer satisfaction in every interaction
Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory and Exchange Server, Microsoft certification (MCSE/MCITP)
Knowledge of IT security topics such as certificates, PKI
