Your tasks

As Incident Manager (m / f) you are responsible for the proactive and reactive monitoring of customer networks and platforms via the Event Management Systems.

In detail you expect the following tasks:

Detect incidents and incidents, receive fault reports, service requests, requests for information and complaints via different media, classify and document them in workflow systems
Diagnose and isolate multiple causes of malfunction and complex disorders, eliminate interferences, or instruct interference suppression
Develop, prioritize, initiate and monitor suppression and neutralization measures, including the necessary escalation if necessary, with the involvement of subsequent service providers (2nd level, field service)
Configure technical facilities and continue their documentation

your profile

You have a vocational education in an IT job profile; the position is suitable for young professionals. In addition, you will convince with the following skills and competences:

Good knowledge of network technologies such as routers / firewalls and servers & virtualization technologies
Secure mastery of network protocols TCP / IP & X.25 / X.31 and management applications (NetCool, ICINGA)
Basic knowledge of ATM and DSL
Experienced ITIL knowledge
Very good German and English knowledge in spoken and written
