Within the Digital Division, IoT Product Development is responsible for the development of IoT products and platform-based solutions.
As a "DevOps Evangelist (m / w)" you work in software development projects focusing on the IoT environment . These include essentially the following tasks and responsibilities:
Advising agile teams on introducing and improving DevOps
Prepare and conduct presentations on DevOps for various stakeholders (management, development and operations teams, architects)
Preparation and implementation of conference presentations (internal, external) on development methodology and DevOps
Networking of development and operations teams
Evaluation of new techniques to improve DevOps approaches in the enterprise
For this position you bring a completed study - ideally computer science - or a comparable study course or a comparable vocational training with many years of professional experience.
Furthermore, convince us with:
5-10 years proven experience in software development or software operations with a strong focus on DevOps
Detailed knowledge in agile software development methodology (eg Scrum ), software development , deployment and operation in cloud systems (eg MS Azure)
Experience in implementation of deployment pipelines as well as a very good basic knowledge about software operating processes (eg incident, problem, change management ) in cloud environments
Very good knowledge of automation techniques for provisioning and self-healing techniques for software (eg Jenkins, GitLab, scripting in different languages )
Detailed knowledge of classical development and operating methods (eg ITIL )
Negotiable German and very good command of spoken and written English
National willingness to travel and, if necessary, to international locations and conferences is expected
